Announced as very close to an extension, Fabian Ruiz is struggling to return from his injury and is increasingly tempted by a return to Spain. Atletico Madrid has jumped at the opportunity.
Less valuable and less present this season, Ruiz, 30, is nevertheless reported to be very close to a contract extension. But PSG likes to maintain suspense regarding discussions with its players, and that also plays into the hands of the papers.
In Spain, it is claimed that the Parisian number eight is increasingly considering packing his bags and returning home. Not to play for Betis, his beloved club, but to sign for Atletico Madrid, which has been making eyes at him for several years now.
