Neves is sidelined as PSG faces Monaco, with key players returning ahead of the Chelsea clash. A mixed bag of injury news shakes up the squad.

PSG has just unveiled its traditional medical update on the eve of hosting Monaco (25th round of Ligue 1 this Friday night), and three players appear in it, including Joao Neves, whom we hoped to see back this Friday.

Luis Enrique will be without at least three players this Friday night against AS Monaco for the 25th round of Ligue 1. PSG has just released its pre-match medical update, and, unsurprisingly, Fabian Ruiz and Quentin Ndjantou still appear in it.

The Spanish midfielder, who was hit in the left knee against Sporting CP last Jan. 20, "continues his adapted individual work this week," he who still has pain, according to his entourage. The young Ndjantou, operated on last month for his right hamstring, "continues his treatment protocol" and will not return right away.

But the bad news concerns Joao Neves, who was hit in the left ankle last Wednesday against Monaco in the Champions League and was absent last Saturday at Le Havre. According to L'Equipe, the Portuguese midfielder participated in PSG's collective session on Wednesday, but he unfortunately still appears in the medical update this Thursday. "He continues his treatment," informs PSG, and he will therefore be absent for the visit of Monaco.

The good news, on the other hand, is that Ousmane Dembele and Senny Mayulu have come out of the medical update after already resuming individual training last week and participating in the collective return session this Wednesday. The two, who had calf issues in recent weeks, will therefore normally be back in the Parisian squad to face Monaco, five days before the visit of Chelsea.
