Christian Falk reports PSG is interested in Harry Kane. The Bayern striker has one year left on his contract and could consider a new challenge.

Harry Kane, a scorer against PSG this week, is discussing a contract extension with Bayern Munich. Paris reportedly intends to take advantage of it to court the English striker, who pleases head coach Luis Enrique.

Between the two Champions League semifinals pitting PSG against Bayern Munich, this information risks making noise on both sides of the Rhine.

And yet, this is not a destabilization maneuver by France, since the information comes to us from Germany. Christian Falk, a great insider for Bild and other outlets, reveals that Kane, 32, could join Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The English striker is the spearhead of Bayern Munich, and he still has one year left on his contract with the Bavarian club, which he joined from Tottenham in 2023. His thirst for trophies has been partially quenched with his signing in Germany, but the forward would not say no to a new challenge.

Falk mentioned, in Bayern Insider, Bayern's management's desire to extend the contract of their star striker, who feels very good in Munich. He recently invited his entire family to a meal organized by the club, a sign that his acclimatization in Bavaria is perfect. But on the margins of these discussions about his future, PSG made its interest in the Englishman known.

Indeed, Enrique is still looking for a striker who is a consensus choice, which has not been the case with Goncalo Ramos, Hugo Ekitike, or Randal Kolo Muani.

"PSG is focused on Kane. He would be closer to England, and he could say yes to a new challenge. But for the moment, it is not heading in that direction," the German journalist said. Falk sees PSG trying its luck with an offer on the table at the end of the season, especially if Kane does not extend his contract in the coming weeks.

It would, in any case, be a resounding move and proof that Enrique, who appreciates playing without a true No. 9, wants to evolve things on his side. He had explained last season that he was not against having a striker, but in that case, it would have to be a very strong player capable of weighing on defenses.
