Paris Saint-Germain is well on its way to claiming another Ligue 1 title. The capital club now leads RC Lens by four points with one more game played. The European champions can therefore manage their schedule in the coming days.

Luis Enrique took the opportunity to run some tests in the league, particularly against Toulouse. Beraldo, 22, was thus given a starting role in midfield, having filled in at that position before the international break in Nice. Once again, the Brazilian impressed -- something that could influence his future prospects at Paris Saint-Germain.

According to L'Equipe (h/t Foot01), the repositioning of the former Sao Paulo player is considered a great success by the PSG coaching staff. Internally, the Brazilian remains a highly valued member of the group, particularly for his impeccable attitude and his desire to learn and develop at the highest level.

It would therefore not be surprising if Luis Enrique now sees Lucas Beraldo more as a midfielder than as a center back. Beraldo has indeed struggled to compete with Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez in that position.

It remains to be seen whether this new role will secure him a future at PSG beyond this summer. In recent weeks, it had been reported that Lucas Beraldo had been placed on the transfer list. Things move very quickly, especially at a club like Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian, however, seizes every opportunity to shine when Luis Enrique calls upon him. And that could change everything for the Piracicaba native, who is just 22.
