Nuno Mendes rejoins PSG training, nearing a comeback after his knee sprain.

Suffering from a left knee sprain against Bayern Munich last Nov. 4, Nuno Mendes returned to Paris Saint-Germain's group training this Thursday.

Nuno Mendes has been one of PSG's best players since the start of the 2025-26 season. The Portuguese international was stringing together matches and strong performances (14 matches across all competitions, four goals, and three assists).

But his season came to an abrupt halt last Nov. 4. Late in the match against Bayern Munich, on Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage, the left back was injured.

He sustained a left knee sprain. Despite this, he remained on the pitch until the end of the match, as manager Luis Enrique had already made his five substitutions.

In its medical update, PSG stated that Nuno Mendes would miss several weeks of competition, without, however, providing a specific diagnosis. Some rumors suggested a possible return before the end of November. That possibility gained traction this Thursday.

Indeed, on its social media accounts, PSG revealed footage from training, two days ahead of hosting Le Havre for Matchday 13 of Ligue 1. In the footage, Nuno Mendes is visible.

The Portuguese international is therefore close to a return, even if it seems unlikely for the match against Le Havre. He could be back in the squad for the match against Tottenham, or possibly against Monaco on the 29th.
