PSG's interest in Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is 'fake news,' an insider reports. Paris has no vital need in midfield with Vitinha and Neves leading.
Potentially on his way out of Real Madrid ahead of the next summer transfer window, Aurelien Tchouameni is not on Paris Saint-Germain's radar, as the latest rumors suggested.
Between Tchouameni and Real Madrid, the love story seems to be coming to an end. Already announced as leaving for several months ahead of next summer, the French international probably accelerated his exit last week.
If he participated in Real Madrid's title-deciding Clasico loss against Barcelona on Sunday (0-2), it is because Alvaro Arbeloa had no choice but to field his 26-year-old midfielder.
Because a few days earlier, Tchouameni had fought with Federico Valverde in training, who suffered a head injury. Suffice it to say that after this new violent altercation in the Madrid locker room, the White Club could have punished their Frenchman, but that was not the case, despite opening a disciplinary proceeding against him.
But could it only be a postponement before being sidelined in the next transfer window? Many clubs are, in any case, on the lookout in the transfer market.
In recent weeks, PSG's name had burst into the Tchouameni case. The X account @TheMatchdayHQ even explained that PSG "shows a marked interest in Tchouameni ahead of next summer."
A rumor that seems false, according to insider @Djaameel_, who explains that the Tchouameni trail to Paris is simply "fake news."
Enough to stop the rumors around Paris, which in any case does not have a vital need in its midfield, knowing that Vitinha, Neves, Ruiz, and Zaïre-Emery are doing the job perfectly.
Arriving at Real Madrid in 2022 as part of an $87 million transfer from Monaco, Tchouameni could instead choose to discover a new league, such as the Premier League, if Madrid were to push him out concretely during the next transfer window.
