Liverpool are being urged to sign PSG's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The 25-year-old is valued well above $100M.
One year after spending more than 400 million euros during the transfer window, Liverpool is not satisfied. Following a disappointing season in which it finished fifth in the Premier League, the Reds want to strengthen their squad, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been offered to them.
Despite a star-studded transfer window featuring the signings of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, and Alexander Isak, Liverpool completely failed in its season. The reigning English champions came close to disaster but ultimately secured Champions League qualification by laboring to a fifth-place finish in the league.
The final result was far from satisfactory for the club's leadership, which parted ways with Arne Slot at the beginning of the summer and appointed Andoni Iraola as his replacement.
After that first major change, Liverpool will now turn its attention to the squad, with significant additions expected. Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has identified the ideal player to strengthen an attack left without Mohamed Salah: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

"Kvara is the player I want at Liverpool. He is a phenomenon, and I think he keeps improving," he first said in comments reported by Liverpool Echo before continuing.
"He is only 25 years old, and he is already impressive. I watched him play at Napoli, and even then, he was exceptional. Liverpool supporters need to be careful because, as good as the targeted players may be, replacing Mohamed Salah will be a huge challenge for whoever arrives. Mohamed Salah is irreplaceable. No one is going to come in and be like Salah, so we need to find something different, and Kvaratskhelia can be that solution because he can remind us of the intensity that Salah brought to the team," he analyzed.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool's leadership will follow the advice of its former striker by submitting an offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. It would take an enormous sum, well above 100 million euros, to shake PSG, which obviously has no intention whatsoever of parting with its Georgia international, who was arguably the club's best player in the Champions League during the 2025-26 season.
