PSG is preparing a $164M offer for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. To fund the deal, the club could sell Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos, and Kang-in Lee, the report says.

Little active last summer, PSG wants to strike hard during the next transfer window. The capital club is going after Julian Alvarez and is not afraid to spend a very large sum, around $164 million.

A year after being very discreet in the transfer market with the signings of Lucas Chevalier and Illya Zabarnyi, PSG will be much more active in the summer of 2026. Even if it secures a second consecutive Champions League victory, the reigning European champion will evolve its squad.

The idea is to bring in new blood, a little more competition, and compensate for the potential departures of unwanted players or those who have not yet extended their contracts. In the attack, Alvarez has been identified as the priority for Luis Campos and Luis Enrique.

The Atletico Madrid striker is considered highly compatible with the Parisian coach's philosophy and is the subject of intense pursuit by PSG. This information was confirmed by El Chiringuito, which tells us that PSG and Atletico Madrid "are already negotiating" the transfer of the Argentine world champion.

The amount mentioned is "well above" $164 million, according to Spanish media, which are certain that Paris will pay a fortune to secure the services of the former Manchester City player. It has been an eternity since PSG spent such a sum.

But in this case, Campos does not want to do just anything, as reported by the site El Gol Digital, which specifies that to complete such an operation, the French champion wants to sell three players.

The idea is to largely finance the transfer of Alvarez, without having to reach into Qatar's pocket. Three squad players could thus be sacrificed. The names mentioned are Kang-in Lee, Goncalo Ramos, and, more surprisingly, Bradley Barcola.

The French international, under contract with PSG until June 2028, has yet to be extended, and the Parisian management is beginning to fear a departure with one year left on his contract, for a reduced price or even a free transfer in two years.

A departure of the winger trained at Lyon would bring in at least $109 million. Adding at least $33 million for Ramos and the same amount for Lee would fully finance the transfer of Alvarez. It remains to find buyers for these three players, who will certainly not lack offers. It is towards a very agitated, but also very exciting, transfer window that we are heading at PSG this summer.
