PSG is targeting Lokomotiv Moscow's Aleksey Batrakov, who has 17 goals and 12 assists this season. Luis Campos may travel to Moscow to close the deal.

Eager to secure the biggest European prospects, PSG wants to close the signing of Aleksey Batrakov, who has scored 17 goals for Lokomotiv Moscow since the start of the season.

Very interested in Julian Alvarez, PSG has another target in mind to strengthen its attack in the next transfer window. The French capital club has been interested in Batrakov for several months.

It must be said that the young Russian attacking midfielder, 20, is setting the counters alight with Lokomotiv Moscow. He has already scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions since the start of the season. Unsurprisingly, several big European clubs have expressed interest in a potential transfer this summer.

Among them is PSG. The reigning European champion has clearly made recruiting the best young European players its recruitment policy in recent years (Doue, Pacho, Neves, Vitinha, Barcola) and wants to continue in this direction with Batrakov.

One of his agents, Vladimir Kuzmichev, confirmed PSG's interest to Sport Express, with the club's executives possibly traveling to Moscow soon to try to close the deal.

"I have information that (Luis Campos) himself or one of his closest collaborators will travel to Moscow. They will communicate mainly with the club," he told the Russian media.

So, confirmation that PSG is very interested in Batrakov with a real desire to secure the Russian attacking midfielder as soon as possible. In this sector of play, the native of Krasnodar could notably compensate for a possible departure of Kang-in Lee, frustrated by his lack of playing time, whose exit is being announced with increasing insistence ahead of the next transfer window.

It remains to be seen what price the Russian club will set for a player under contract until 2029 and valued at $27 million by the specialized site Transfermarkt.
