How PSG could replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: Désiré Doué, Mika Godts and Ferran Torres are internal options, while a winter signing remains possible.

With Khvicha Kvaratskhelia seriously injured, PSG has several internal options, but it could also be active in the winter transfer market to replace the Georgian. With a different profile than the one initially wanted? That's a possibility.

While he was far from an undisputed starter in recent weeks, Kvaratskhelia remains a key PSG player, and his absence for long months is inevitably bad news for PSG, which let Bradley Barcola go to Liverpool last summer.

But Luis Enrique has many internal solutions to compensate for the absence of his number 7. Désiré Doué was excellent on the left against Manchester City; Ferran Torres can also play there, while Mika Godts is a specialist at the position and was recruited specifically to compete with the Georgian, something he hadn't managed to do until now.

PSG also reminded Le Parisien that young players Quentin Ndjantou and Senny Mayulu are valued internally and will play a role in the absence of the former Napoli player.

L'Équipe and the Parisian outlet also mention Nuno Mendes at left wing, but that would require a viable left-back solution. Lucas Hernandez was excellent against Lamine Yamal on Tuesday night, but can he repeat that performance regularly?

The question of a winter transfer market signing therefore arises, and Luis Enrique keeps repeating that he is always on the lookout for opportunities, provided the price is reasonable and the player adds real value to his squad. In today's edition, L'Equipe says PSG was already considering signing a left winger in the next winter transfer window before Kvara's injury.

A young left winger with high potential. Kvara's injury should confirm PSG's path, but the French sports outlet says it could be partially redirected. Are they looking for a more experienced profile? Or by signing a player who plays more on the right, in case Doué moves to the left?

For the moment, it is not very clear, but PSG will, in any case, have the means to sign in the next winter transfer window, and life without Kvara until then will undoubtedly allow Luis Campos and Luis Enrique to refine their search.
