PSG will try to do as well as it did against Chelsea this Wednesday against Liverpool, in a quarterfinal that has the entire club from the capital salivating.

Paris Saint-Germain, which continues for now to batter English sides in the Champions League, will do it again this week in the first leg of the quarterfinals.

It will be against Liverpool in a match that is naturally highly anticipated. Because last season, Paris managed to eliminate the Reds at the end of a two-legged tie in which Gianluigi Donnarumma pulled off miracles -- most notably during the penalty shootout.

PSG vs. Liverpool is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. PT, 2 p.m. CT, 3 p.m. ET, 9 p.m. CEST from the Parc des Princes in Paris, France. The match can be watched live on TV and via streaming through Paramount+ and ViX in the United States, on DAZN and fuboTV in Canada, on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max in the United Kingdom, and on FOX One in Mexico.

For this match, both sides have several absentees to contend with. Bradley Barcola will be the main absentee on PSG's side, though that will allow offensive stars Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to start the match. Fabian Ruiz will not be able to start, as he remains doubtful at the start of the week.

On Liverpool's side, Alisson will be the main absentee and will be replaced by Georgian goalkeeper Mamardashvili in the Reds' goal. Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike are expected to start together up front. Big names for a matchup in which PSG is a slight favorite, despite having finished the Champions League group stage with a worse record than Liverpool.
