Manchester United are going in for a double summer swoop as they show interest in two Bundesliga stars also wanted by Barcelona.

Manchester United have seemingly overcome their apparent mid-season crisis, with interim manager Michael Carrick settling in quite well for the remainder of the campaign as the Reds look to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League.

Securing a top-four spot would not only secure Champions League football for the Reds but also play a big role in Carrick's chances of managing United permanently. This will give the club an upper hand in securing their transfer targets for the summer transfer window.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Man United's managerial problems, the club management isn't just sitting ducks as they already have several players on their shortlist for the transfer window before the start of the 2026/27 season.

As it seems midfield is one area which the Reds are targeting to develop and Premier leagues most sought after young midfielder's are on their sights with Adam Wharton, Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba being their top priorities.

Now, according to Bild (h/t Mirror), United are after another midfielder who looks to be on the target list of all the European giants like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and FC Barcelona as they gear up to fight it out for the signature of 16-year-old Kennet Eichhorn during the summer of 2026.

The teenage sensation has already made 14 first-team appearances for Hertha Berlin this season as they currently sit sixth in the league table and are keen to get promoted back to the top flight. Still, Eichhorn's recent syndesmosis injury in his left foot will keep him out of action for a few matches as he hopes to return before the season ends and then decide on his future.

The Mirror also reports Manchester's interest in another Bundesliga player, Julian Ryerson of Borussia Dortmund, who has played an important role in Dortmund's fight for the Bundesliga title and the Champions League, providing a total of 11 assists for BVB in all competitions this season.

Eichhorn, given his age and lack of experience, would most likely need some time to settle into life in Manchester. The club can bring him in for the next season. Still, as for Ryerson, with his current form, he would surely make an immediate impact on the team, with Diogo Dalot being United's most trusted left-back this season, as Noussair Mazraoui has been sidelined since Luke Shaw returned to the team.
