Manchester United have been linked with quite a few midfielder's till now and now they have shown interest in signing this young German during the summer.

As it seems, Manchester United would go through one of their busiest summer transfer windows this year, as compared to the past few seasons, as they are yet to decide on their permanent manager for next season.

United avoided moving in for any new transfer targets during the winter as the uncertainty surrounding their managerial role forced the club to wait until the summer, when they would have certainly decided on a permanent replacement for former manager Ruben Amorin.

Although that isn't stopping Man United from adding players to their shortlist for the transfer window, the likes of Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, and Elliot Anderson have emerged as the Reds' prime targets for the upcoming window.

Newcastle's Sandro Tonali became the latest player added to that list, with reports suggesting United's interest in the Italian. According to Sky Germany (h/t TEAMTALK), the club is reportedly interested in signing Felix Nmecha from Borussia Dortmund.

The 25-year-old has been an integral part of Dortmund's midfield this season, but it seems the German club would be happy to let him leave for the right amount, as they have reportedly set the asking price for him at €60 million.

The midfielder is known for his ability to perform both as a central midfielder and as an attacking midfielder, which certainly adds an edge to Nmecha's profile. He has scored a total of five goals and provided two assists for his side in all competitions this season.

With Casemiro's departure already confirmed United would definitely move into the market with an aim to find the Brazilian defensive midfielder's replacement as the primary target for the Reds with Nottingham Forest's Anderson emerging as a prime target for the club who is reportedly valued at £90 million by Forest.

Another player who could also see his United career come to an end is Manuel Ugarte, who the club brought in as a younger alternative for Casemiro. Still, the Uruguayan has seemingly failed to make his mark at Old Trafford under both Amorin and now Michael Carrick.

These departures would create a void in the United midfield next season, and the management is responding well to the situation by setting targets. The Reds would have to fight it out with other big clubs for the signings of the likes of Anderson, Baleba, and Nmecha during the summer of 2026.
