Fresh off a trophy win, PSG faces a derby. Who should Luis Enrique bench and who deserves a start to showcase their form?

On Thursday evening, PSG won their third trophy of the season against Marseille in Kuwait. After a 2-2 draw, the Parisians beat their counterparts 4-1 on penalties, meaning all three pieces of silverware have been won after spot kicks.

The team's next game will also be a cup game, with a second Paris derby in three games, once again at the Parc Des Princes. There will have to be changes made for the game, no doubt - but who?

Let's start on the left wing. This is a good opportunity for Bradley Barcola to come into the XI. The Frenchman assisted the last-gasp equaliser, and this feels like a good opportunity to rotate him back into the side.

Up front, this does feel like an opportunity for Goncalo Ramos - who scored the aforementioned equaliser against Marseille - to come back into the starting line-up. Having scored that goal and his penalty, he will be full of confidence. It would be a shame not capitalise on that by leaving him on the bench.

There is an argument for starting Ousmane Dembele as a false 9 to help him regain match sharpness after missing large periods of the season. However, if you are not going to start Ramos in a round of 32 cup game, when will you start him? Plus, with Dembele's injury history, more rest is no bad thing.

On the right, it feels right to let Desire Doue give himself the chance to play himself into form. He has only played 729 minutes in all competitions this season, so sharpness is needed more than any rest.

Let's drop back to the midfield. With Achraf Hakimi currently at the AFCON, Warren Zaire-Emery has filled in at Right-Back. However, this feels like an opportunity to start the 19-year old in midfield, and start Senny Mayulu on the right side of the defence.

Truth be told, there is little depth in midfield at the moment - particularly with Kang-In Lee, who can fill in there, currently injured. So two of the midfield spots will be as you were, particularly against a top flight opponent.

So, it simply comes to this; which of the starting midfield 3 has played the most this season? That would be Vitinha, by a fair margin. This could be the chance to give him a rest, with Joao Neves starting at the base of the midfield.

In defence, this feels like a good time to give Willian Pacho a rest, whilst giving Lucas Beraldo a chance in the left centre back position. Likewise at left back, we could well see Lucas Hernandez come in for Nuno Mendes.

The skipper Marquinhos has not played as much as the other defenders this season, so he could keep his place to keep some continuity. Again, this is a game against a Ligue 1 opponent, and a derby at that, so you do want to keep some starters in.

Finally, in goal, this could be a chance for Renato Marin to continue in the Coupe de France. The Italian played in the previous round, and Matvey Safonov is currently sidelined with injury.

Possible XI vs Paris FC; Marin; Mayulu, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Hernandez; Zaire-Emery, Neves, Ruiz; Doue, Ramos, Barcola.
