After a convincing victory against Bayern Munich in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals, Paris Saint-Germain are inching closer to the final of the tournament on Sunday in the MetLife stadium.
With the UEFA champions league already in PSG's bag, with the likes of Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leading the charge upfront, the Parisians are the team to beat right now.
Although with the fast moving pace of modern football one must adapt to it in order to stay relevant and keep winning. With the transfer window now open, PSG will look to fill the gaps within their squad to dominate World football for a few more years atleast and defend their titles in the upcoming season.
Financing big money transfers hasn't been a problem at PSG in the past few years although the addition of an extra $155 million which was added to the club's money pool from the recent Champions league win will definitely help the club reach it's transfer targets.
Now with the Club World Cup trophy in sight, PSG will definitely go all out to win the premier tournament. PSG will now face Real Madrid in the semifinals this Wednesday and if they manage to beat the Los Blancos they will face either Chelsea or Fluminense in the Final of the Club World Cup on Sunday.
If they can manage to go all the way and win the tournament, it will fetch them another $125 million in prize money. This huge corpus of money will definitely be a boost for the club in order to finance their future ambitions of strengthening the team for years to come.
