However, the club has not stopped there and has continued their mesmerising form into the FIFA Club World Cup as well. They recently got past Bayern Munich in a 2-0 victory in the quarter-final. The club is now set to face Real Madrid for a place in the final.
Real Madrid failed to win any major trophy last season and have since brought in Xabi Alonso as their new manager. PSG will have to be at their very best against this new-look Madrid side to get the better of them. The two sides are set to face off at MetLife Stadium in the United States.

This matchup has all the ingredients to be an exciting one, with the current best team in Europe, PSG, set to face Real Madrid, a club known for their European dominance in recent years.
