Paris Saint-Germain have a day with history as they look to become only the second French team to win the UEFA Champions League trophy. The final obstacle is a formidable Inter Milan who stands in their way of European glory.

In a matchup that could well come down to fine margins, PSG players will need to stay calm under pressure. It’s true that this is easier said than done, but they must ensure they stick to the plan and avoid putting unnecessary pressure on themselves.

Recently club captain Marquinhos has talked in a press conference ahead of the final about the psychological aspect of the game and how Luis Enrique has helped the team in that aspect. He said:

“From day one, the coach has also taught us how to manage our emotions. He has worked very hard since he arrived at the club, and I think that's also why we are where we are today. It's not just about tactics or technique.”

Luis Enrique’s tactics have been highly effective throughout the season. He has managed to put together a solid squad capable of beating even the strongest European teams. His approach has brought a renewed sense of confidence to the players, resulting in the team performing at its true potential in the European competition.

PSG are back in the Champions League final after five long years. Their last European final, against Bayern Munich, ended in heartbreak for Paris. Now, PSG have a chance to redeem themselves by winning the trophy in Munich.
