Just one more day and then PSG will take on Chelsea in Sunday's final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where they are strong favourites to add the Club World Cup to their Champions League, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France championships from the 2024-25 season.

This is the first edition of the 32-team Club World Cup, and whoever wins on Sunday will be world champions for four years, with the next tournament scheduled to take place in 2029.

FIFA has announced the officiating team that will manage the final of the 2025 Club World Cup.

The FIFA referees committee has assigned Australian referee Alireza Faghani to officiate the match. Faghani previously officiated the opening match between Egyptian club Al Ahly and American side Inter Miami, as well as Chelsea's quarter-final match against Palmeiras.

Anton Shchetinin and Ashley Beecham will act as assistant referees in the final, with Facundo Tello as the fourth official and Gabriel Chade as an additional assistant referee, while Bastian Dankert, Tatiana Guzmán, and Ivan Bebek will be operating in the VAR room.
