Paris Saint-Germain's faith in young talents has played out quite well as they became the second youngest squad to lift the UEFA Champions League title and also reached the Club World Cup Final where they came second best against English side Chelsea.
As the 2025-26 season draws near, PSG are wasting no time as they brought in 19-year-old Renato Marin, their latest recruit of the summer transfer window from Italy.
With the signing of the young goalkeeper from Roma, PSG are already seeing Marin as a long term replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma, their current number one.
In his first interview as a PSG player, Marin looked delighted to join to European Champions as he thanked the club management saying, "Thank you very much! I'm very happy and very proud! I'd like to thank the President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos, Luis Enrique and all the staff for the trust they've placed in me. They've been incredibly supportive right from the start, and I'm very grateful for that!"
The youngster also said that he's eager to learn from all the experienced players currently at the club, expressing his excitement to play under the PSG manager, Luis Enrique.
When he was about his thoughts on the Parcel Des Princes, Marin looked quite excited as he said, "I can't wait! It's something I want to experience, you can see it every time, the stadium is incredible, the atmosphere created by the fans... A player couldn't ask for anything better!"
In PSG, Marin will have the opportunity to learn from one the best goalkeeper's in World football right now and if he can utilise this opportunity which he has rightfully earned, there is little doubt that he'll go on and make a name for himself and shine for the Parisians.
