Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to win their maiden UEFA Champions League crown when they take to the pitch against Inter Milan in the final at the Allianz Arena. One man who will have a lot of hopes and expectations riding on his shoulders on the night is Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele has been successful in establishing himself as PSG's star man this season, helping them reach the UEFA Champions League final.
Dembele has registered 8 goals and 4 assists in 14 Champions League games so far this season. The Frenchman will be looking to add to that tally in the final against Inter Milan.
How is the PSG squad approaching the final? That is the question that Dembele was asked when talking to UEFA's media team before the game against Inter Milan.
Dembele said, "These are matches that we want to play in and matches that we've been dreaming of since we were children. Playing in a Champions League final is amazing. You need a lot of focus and a lot of pride, and hopefully we'll win this match, but it won't be easy against this Inter team. They're a very difficult team to play against, but anything can happen in a final."
PSG will know that in Inter Milan, they face a top-level opposition. They made it to the final by getting the better of FC Barcelona in what many are calling the greatest tie in Champions League history.
PSG should be very confident about what they bring to the table as well. This team is not reliant on any one individual. They have phenomenal attacking talents like Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue.
In midfield, the likes of Vitinha, João Neves and Fabian Ruiz are very capable of controlling any game of football.
Their defence, consisting of players like Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes and more, is also extremely formidable. We saw them restrict Arsenal to just one goal in the semi-finals.
