Paris Saint-Germain is having a tournament to remember in the States as they prepare for the final newly revamped FIFA Club World Cup which is scheduled to take place on Sunday in the MetLife stadium against Chelsea.

On their way to the final, PSG beat both Lionel Messi's Inter Miami and Real Madrid with a 4-0 margin and they also defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 in the quarter final stage.

The Parisians have been so defiant in the CWC that even a star studded Los Blancos side didn't stand a change against them as they were brushed aside 4-0 in the semifinals of the tournament.

Other than their group stage 0-1 defeat against Botafogo, no team has been able to score past the newly crowned European Champions. These numbers are a testament that PSG are not only brilliant in attack but also great in defence.

PSG will face a motivated Chelsea side led by Enzo Maresca who defeated Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense on their road to the final during the knockout phase of the tournament. The Blues have been handed a boost ahead of Sunday's final, as Moises Caicedo has overcome an ankle issue to join full training.

Maresca can now call upon Levi Colwill and Liam Delap, who were suspended for the semi-final, the latter's return means more competition for Joao Pedro, surely favourite to start up front after scoring twice on his full debut.

As things stand PSG are clear favourites to lift the coveted trophy on Sunday as their Balon D'or favourite Ousmane Dembele is looking in crisp form after scoring against Los Blancos in the semifinal.

But again in a final of this magnitude there are no favourites and the Parisians will have to make sure that they leave no gaps against Chelsea as they look to go all the way in the CWC.
