For almost three years, Paris Saint-Germain has decided to refocus its transfer strategy around promising young players. Ayyoub Bouaddi is part of that group. The information surrounding this case is conflicting.
While it bet on buying international stars at the beginning of its project, PSG under QSI has now decided to focus on young players with high potential who could excel wearing the Parisian jersey.
Dro Fernandez is the latest example. With this in mind, the capital club is reportedly closely following Ayyoub Bouaddi.
Although the player extended his contract with Lille until June 2029 at the end of 2025, he is expected to leave his formative club during the summer 2026 transfer window.
Having delivered strong performances with LOSC, the midfielder is attracting interest from several major European clubs, including PSG.
According to Foot Mercato, the player's profile is highly appreciated in Doha. But one club is reportedly already advanced in this pursuit: Arsenal, according to the football media outlet.
And while, for the moment, no club has truly made a move with an offer, Bouaddi remains a transfer priority for these clubs. Especially for PSG and Arsenal, Foot Mercato assures.
The outlet indicates that, on the player's side and according to its information, a departure seems inevitable at the end of the season. The idea is to use the summer to take the next step in his very young career.
"And among the suitors, PSG remains determined to secure his signing. While the club was monitoring the situation this winter, within the capital club, the priority was always to make him a target for this summer. And the executives have not forgotten this objective, as they fully intend to recruit him to strengthen Luis Enrique's midfield."
Foot Mercato concludes by explaining that Lille expects a large sum to let Ayyoub Bouaddi go.
For his part, Olivier Tallaron, a journalist specializing in PSG for Canal Plus, explains that despite certain rumors, PSG reportedly has no intention of signing Ayyoub Bouaddi.
