After loaning Gabriel Moscardo to Braga last summer, of which Qatar Sports Investments owns nearly 30%, Paris Saint-Germain will loan another player this week to one of the clubs in its majority shareholder's galaxy.
The winter transfer window is coming to an end. Monday night, it will be over in France, and until then, PSG is expected to be mainly active with departures.
Loaned to FC Copenhagen since the start of the season, Yoram Zague did not convince the Danish club, which recently terminated his loan and sent him back to Paris.
But the 19-year-old Parisian right-back, who participated in 15 matches this season (with two goals), will not linger in Paris, as, according to RMC Sport, he will be loaned in the next few hours to KAS Eupen, a Belgian second-division club that was bought in December by... QSI is the majority shareholder of PSG. A loan without an option to buy, a priori.
Zague will thus move from a club that played in the Champions League to one that is playing for promotion to the Belgian first division, but this loan should finally allow him to have the playing time he seeks for his progression.
A product of the PSG academy, Zague is under contract with the Parisian club until June 2028, and KAS Eupen is currently seventh in the Challenger Pro League, five points away from sixth place, which is a playoff spot for promotion.
