PSG conquers Dubai, clinching seven Globe Soccer Awards. Ousmane Dembele shines, crowned the world's best player in a monumental year for the club.

The year 2025 will be unforgettable for Paris Saint-Germain fans...

After being founded in 1970 by the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain, acquired by Qatar Sports Investments in 2011, weathering the highs and lows of numerous signings, and enduring painful defeats and eliminations, football finally smiles on PSG.

To close the year on a joyful note, today we will review the individual awards won by the Parisian squad.

Ousmane Dembele, the best in the world

The young Parisian was born in 1997 in Vernon, France. Without a doubt, he will remember this year as the best of his career so far. After his debut at Stade Rennais, his transfer to Borussia Dortmund in 2016, his dark period at FC Barcelona between 2017 and 2023, injuries, slumps, and heavy media criticism, today, he is finally established as the best player in the world.

The awards achieved by "the Mosquito" this year were:

2025 Ballon d'Or: Named The Best player in the world in September.

FIFA The Best: He also took home The FIFA award for Best footballer.

Globe Soccer Awards: Best player of the year (presented today).

Without a doubt, he will be marked as a legend in the history of PSG.

Other individual awards, a star-studded squad

The squad is full of stars in every position. As proof of this, the awards won by the other players were:

Luis Enrique: Won The Best award and The Johan Cruyff Trophy for the best coach in the world.

Gianluigi Donnarumma: Took home the Yashin Trophy and the Best for Best goalkeeper (due to his key performance in the Champions League with PSG).

Desire Doue: Won The 2025 Golden Boy, confirming himself as the top prospect in world football.
