According to journalist Duncan Castles, Paris Saint-Germain has already found the replacement for Goncalo Ramos, whose name is circulating in the Premier League and La Liga, but would be opposed to a departure of its Portuguese striker this winter.
A luxury substitute at PSG, but the club's top scorer this season with 10 goals, Goncalo Ramos is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs this winter.
Recently reported as a target for Atletico Madrid for next season, the Portuguese is being targeted this winter by Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, according to the latest reports from British journalist Duncan Castles.
Aston Villa is in search of a new striker this winter and is notably tracking Tammy Abraham, currently on loan at Besiktas from AS Roma, and Jean-Philippe Mateta, Crystal Palace's French international.
The latter wants to leave the Eagles this winter and also appeals to Juventus. According to Castles, Unai Emery is also exploring the Goncalo Ramos option, with whom he shares the same agent, a certain Jorge Mendes.
But Crystal Palace, which could therefore lose Mateta, is also considering Goncalo Ramos and would have already made inquiries, according to Castles.
For its part, PSG is firmly opposed to a departure of its Portuguese striker during this winter transfer window, according to the same source. Ramos is the club's top scorer this season, and even if he is not an undisputed starter, his contribution during matches is valuable.
Duncan Castles also reveals that PSG has already found the replacement for Goncalo Ramos, but does not believe it can recruit him this winter, hence the idea of not letting go of the Portuguese player in January.
PSG also seems to have every interest in waiting until this summer in this Ramos case to drive up the price, especially if he shines at the World Cup with Portugal.
