The Portuguese wonderkid is tipped to become Benfica's most promising talent since Joao Felix and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in him.

Paris Saint-Germain, in recent years, has shifted its transfer policy from signing established players to bringing in players who have little or no experience but have the talent to become one of the best in their respective positions.

Desire Doue stands as a towering example of PSG's success in their recent transfer policy, as the 20-year-old winger scored four goals and provided one assist already this season and is likely to add to his tally as we enter the new year.

21-year-old Midfielder Joao Neves is another youngster who was brought in by the Parisians in 2024 for a transfer fee of €65 million from Benfica, which the Portuguese has justified in every game he has played for PSG.

As we enter the winter transfer window, PSG have reportedly set their sights on another talent from Benfica, as PSG Inside Actu posted on their X account (h/t Sports Mole) that Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in 17-year-old centre forward Anisio Cabral.

Young Cabral is yet to make his senior debut for Benfica, but is already deemed to be one of Portugal's future stars, as Jose Mourinho is expected to promote him into the first team soon during the ongoing season.

The teenager's brilliant scoring run of 26 goals in 33 games forced Benfica to hand Cabral his first professional contract in 2024, as he went on to win the 2024 U-17 European Championship and the 2025 U-17 World Cup, where he won the silver boot, scoring seven goals throughout the tournament.

Benfica, understanding the situation, has put a release clause of €60 million for Cabral, which is a significant amount for a 17-year-old, but financially, PSG is unlikely to hesitate when the time arrives, as they have already invested heavily in youngsters previously.

The young centre forward is already being considered as Benfica's biggest talent since Joao Felix, as he has gradually climbed up the ranks in the Portuguese club, and PSG won't shy away from crashing in on the youngster during the winter transfer window after a pretty quiet summer window.

As for Cabral, the opportunity to play under Luis Enrique could play a major role in his growth as a professional player, as the dynamic PSG manager is known for his ability to nurture young talents like that of Cabral, and given the huge number of fixtures the Parisians play, chances to showcase his talents would be plentiful for the budding Portuguese forward.
