Luis Enrique solidifies his PSG commitment through 2027, silencing Manchester United and Real Madrid rumors with a new contract.

Linked to Paris Saint-Germain until June 2027, Luis Enrique was recently reported as a target for Manchester United by dubious sources, but his future is indeed being written in Paris, despite another rumor linking him to... Real Madrid.

Luis Enrique once again displayed his full passion and powers of persuasion at a press conference on Thursday. To criticism and doubts from the press about his team, the Spaniard responded with numbers and repeated that, given the very particular circumstances of the current season, what his PSG has produced so far is simply extraordinary.

Having arrived in Paris in 2023, the Spaniard entered the club's history forever last May 31 and signed a new contract until 2027 in February 2025. Recently, the dismissal of Ruben Amorim at Manchester United gave rise to the idea that Luis Enrique could leave PSG to try his luck in the Premier League. There were a few rumors on social media, but they were unfounded and quickly denied.

Real Madrid, Manchester United Get Bad News On Luis Enrique PSG Future

While Xabi Alonso has just been dismissed by Real Madrid and replaced temporarily by Alvaro Arbeloa, Luis Enrique's name has not been mentioned in the Madrid press. This is not surprising since, even though "Lucho" played for Real from 1991 to 1996, he subsequently spent 8 years at Barcelona, a club he also managed successfully and holds dear to his heart.

In his latest podcast, however, British journalist Duncan Castles raised the possibility of Luis Enrique moving to Real Madrid, but immediately clarified that this scenario would not happen given Luis Enrique's history with the Bernabeu.

Most importantly, Duncan Castles revealed that discussions had already taken place recently between Luis Enrique and PSG regarding an extension and the signing of his potential third Parisian contract since his arrival.

According to this source, these discussions were paused for a time and will resume once the winter transfer window is over. PSG is presented as "completely relaxed" and very confident. The club is also said to be convinced that the day Luis Enrique leaves the club, it will be his choice and it will be to take a break, not to join another project.
