Dro Fernandez will be the first signing of the winter transfer window for PSG and probably the last. The 18-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder successfully passed his medical this Monday morning and is set to sign in the coming hours until 2030 in a transfer estimated between 8 and 8.5 million euros, according to sources.

As with every transfer before its official announcement, the question arises of the jersey number the new signing will wear. Last summer, several numbers were freed up with the permanent or temporary departures of players.

The number 11 of Marco Asensio but especially of Angel Di Maria is thus vacant at PSG and could potentially interest Pedro "Dro" Fernandez Sarmiento, an attacking player who displayed his nickname "Dro" on the back of his jersey at Barcelona.

Regarding the jersey number, Dro wore number 27 at Barcelona during his five matches played with Hansi Flick's first team, and this number 27 is free at PSG since the departure of a certain Cher Ndour.

Above all, 27 is the number that Javier Pastore wore at PSG (except during the 2016/17 season when El Flaco took the number 10 from Zlatan before "offering" it to Neymar).

Other numbers like 12, 13, 15, 16, and 18 are available at PSG and could potentially interest Dro. It should be noted that recent PSG signings have almost all opted for an original, but special, jersey number in their eyes: 87 for Neves, 51 for Pacho, 30 for Chevalier, 89 for Renato Marin, or 39 for Safonov.
