Bournemouth owner Bill Foley has once again raised expectations among Cherries supporters after making some bold statements about the club's ambitions during an appearance on talkSPORT with Alex Crook.

The American billionaire showed little hesitation when discussing Bournemouth's prospects of winning silverware, insisting that he believes the club has the foundations to go all the way.

"It's an honour but I don't think it would be a surprise if we win. We deserve to win and I think we can go all the way," Foley declared, before jokingly acknowledging his previous predictions have occasionally landed him in hot water. "I don't want to make a prediction that we will because I end up getting in trouble when I started making predictions even though they usually come true."

He said: "I like our team. I like what we've done so far in the Europa League. My number one ambition is to win a major trophy and number two to qualify for the Champions League,"
