AFC Bournemouth Women's hopes of reaching the Southern Premier Division play-offs took a hit on Sunday, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Real Bedford at the Vitality Stadium - a game attended by over 5,000 Cherries!

The scoreline leaves the Cherries six points adrift of second-placed Plymouth Argyle, albeit with a game in hand - thus taking the promotion picture out of their own hands.

Bournemouth fans at a sun-soaked Dean Court witnessed an entertaining game, where Katie James’s stunning strike sandwiched by two Real Bedford close range finishes.
