Another Injury For AFC Bournemouth Sees Julian Arajuo Sidelined...

Julian Araujo is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on the thigh injury he suffered during Bournemouth's pre-season training camp in Austria.

The Mexican international was forced off in the Cherries' opening friendly against St. Pauli, with further assessment confirming that an operation was required. Araujo will now begin his rehabilitation under the care of Bournemouth's medical staff.

His injury also comes at a time when his future at the club has been the subject of speculation following the arrival of Juanlu Sánchez from Sevilla, who has strengthened Marco Rose's options at right-back.
