Betting Ban? So Why Is MrQ On Bournemouth's Sleeve?
AFC Bournemouth have announced a new three-year partnership with MrQ Casino, which becomes the club's Official UK Online Casino Partner in a new video filmed on the beach by Bournemouth pier. The agreement spans both the men's first team and AFC Bournemouth Women, with the MrQ logo set to feature on the sleeve of the men's playing shirt as well as on adult retail shirts.
Whilst the Premier League have banned front of shirt sponsors for gambling companies, they are still allowed to be utilised in nearly every other area of club branding.
As part of the collaboration, afcb.co.uk reports that supporters can look forward to a series of fan-focused activations, competitions and exclusive matchday prizes, with the first campaign already making a splash on Bournemouth Beach, where hundreds of branded towels appeared beneath a giant "Reserved for MrQ" banner before being handed out to beachgoers.
Eagle eyed fans noticed the company's logo adorning the perimeter advertising last season at Vitality Stadium.
MrQ praised "Bournemouth's fearless rise and European ambitions" as key reasons behind the deal. Further activations and competitions are expected to be rolled out throughout the 2026/27 season.
