As the dust settles after Bournemouth's astounding debut in the Europa League, the travails of playing extra games hit home this week with the startling realisation that October will see Bournemouth playing four matches in the space of nine days.
It begins with a huge European night at home to AC Milan on Thursday 22 October in the Europa League.
Just three days later, the Cherries travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League, before returning to the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday 28 October for a League Cup last-16 tie against Aston Villa.
Cherries fans learned of EFL Cup draw whilst in San SebastianThe demanding run concludes on Saturday 31 October, when Leeds United visit Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Should Cherries progress in the EFL Cup, it will then see them play six games in 18 days.
