AFC Bournemouth duo Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon-Doak have secured their places in Scotland’s 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking the nation’s first appearance at the tournament since 1998.
Steve Clarke’s side will prepare for the competition with friendlies against Curaçao and Bolivia before opening their Group C campaign against Haiti and Morocco in Massachusetts. Scotland will then round off the group stage with a blockbuster clash against Brazil in Miami. Christie heads into the tournament with 66 senior caps for his country, while winger Gannon-Doak has already made 12 appearances for Scotland’s senior side.
