Summer signing Juanlu Sánchez caught the eye on his AFC Bournemouth debut as the Cherries secured their third Premier League 2 victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Stoke City at Wimborne Town FC on Monday night.

The former Sevilla man impressed with his composure and neat touches, playing his part in a hard-fought victory at Wimborne Town’s Wyatt Homes Stadium. Goals from Harold William and Dane Ndimukum gave Bournemouth a two-goal advantage before Stoke’s Alo Ampah pulled one back, but Alan Connell’s side held firm to claim all three points.
