AFC Bournemouth midfielder Romain Faivre is expected to rejoin Auxerre on a season-long loan after a productive spell with the Ligue 1 side during the second half of last season, report the Daily Echo.
The 27-year-old made 10 league appearances and registered two assists as Auxerre secured a 15th-place finish, following an unsuccessful stint with Saudi club Al-Taawoun.
Faivre, who joined Bournemouth from Lyon in 2023 in a deal worth up to £12.8million, has made just six substitute appearances for the Cherries and will now continue his development in France under new Auxerre head coach and former Southampton manager Will Still.
