AFC Bournemouth legend Adam Smith once again proved his remarkable fitness levels after finishing second in the Cherries' annual 1,600m pre-season run at the club's Performance Centre in Canford Magna.
The achievement was revealed in Bournemouth's latest pre-season montage, with only new left-back Adrien Truffert managing to finish ahead of the veteran defender in the gruelling test.
The video, along with a series of training galleries, showed much of Marco Rose's squad back at work following the summer break, although those involved at the World Cup were absent, including Alex Scott, who had been away with England.
During a series of vox pops, several Bournemouth players predicted that Truffert would come out on top in the demanding annual fitness challenge - a prediction that ultimately proved correct.
