Super-subs sparked a historic European turnaround to extend Cherries winning streak to seven games in all competitions, but mixed defensive displays and a rare penalty miss left several starters fighting for their places ahead of Ipswich on Sunday.
After a shaky first half, Marco Rose's men fought back to make it 7 wins in a row in all competitions thanks to goals from 3 different second half substitutes.
But, who stood out most for AFCB, and is there anyone that played that has room for improvement for when they next play?
GK: Michele Di Gregorio 7/10
He couldn't do much for the goal, but commanded his box well when balls were put into the area, and looks composed when on the ball too.
LB: Julio Soler 5/10
Soler struggled down the left hand side in the first half, with Sparta Prague targeting that as a clear area of vulnerability, but did grow into the game more as it went on before being replaced by Truffert.
CB: Bafode Diakite 8.5/10
Despite playing on the left side of the 2 centre backs, Diakite had an excellent game. His reading of the game was excellent, he looked comfortable with the ball at his feet and was great in the air too. Another great game for Diakite!
CTK PhotoCB: James Hill 7.5/10
Not as glamorous a performance as Diakite, but still looked solid and didn't make any glaring errors. Could this be the performance that sees him get an England call up tomorrow?
RB: Adam Smith 7/10
Put in a crucial block early into the game to deny what looked to have been a certain goal for the hosts, but cannot get any more than a 7 as he only played 45 minutes.
CM: Lewis Cook 5/10
Missing a penalty in a Europa League group game is something that I never thought I would see Lewis Cook even get the chance to do. Cook struggled on the ball at times, not his best game for sure.
CM: Ryan Christie 6.5/10
Provided more going forward for AFCB, yet still had some slight moments of uncertainty in the first half. Not bad from the Scottish International tonight!
10: Amine Adli 4/10
His pass that went straight to a Prague player who didn't have an AFCB player within 15 yards of him summed his game up today. He looked erratic on the ball and clumsy at times as well.
LW: David Brooks 4/10
Unfortunately, the performance today from Brooks showed why he hasn't been playing much at all under Rose. He looked weak, unconfident and lacked flair and a change of pace today.
CTK PhotoRW: Ben Gannon-Doak 6/10
Similar to Christie, was a constant threat and always tries his all, but there wasn't enough end product to warrant more than a 6 today.
Alvaro Rodriguez 5.5/10
His hold up play was good at times, but he also had some moments that lacked composure in the box.
SUBS
Tyler Adams 9/10
Lovely finish from Adams to set the tone for the second half, and calmed down the midfield too.
Evanilson 10/10
Changed the game, and proved why he is one of AFCB's most important players.
Adrien Truffert 7/10
Was a necessary change made by Rose, and made the left side a lot more quiet which was needed.
Marcus Tavernier: 6/10
Didn't create much, but looked a lot better on the ball than some of the starting attackers.
CTK PhotoRayan 8/10
Took his goal very well, and looked more confident when he came on. Boa Noite Rayan!
