At 10am this morning, AFC Bournemouth's fixtures were released ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season, and here are all of the key dates and most important games that all Cherries fans need to look out for and put in their calendars!
This morning, AFC Bournemouth supporters learned the fixture dates for the club's 2026/27 Premier League campaign, providing the first opportunity to assess key challenges, favourable runs and potential pitfalls across a season that will also include European football.
First & Last Home and Away Games
Due to stadium development works, the hierarchy at Vitality Stadium applied for the first and last game of the 2026/27 season to be played away, which will mean that Marco Rose's first game of the season is away to Manchester City, and he will finish off the season away at Liverpool.
Additionally, the first home game of the season will see Bournemouth welcoming Everton to a somewhat newly renovated Dean Court, and the last home game of the 2026/27 season, before the stadium shuts for more expansion and renovation works, will be a clash against Chelsea.
Other Key Dates
Cherries fans always look towards the festive fixture schedule, most notably, focusing on who Bournemouth will face on Boxing Day, New Year Day, and any matches in-between.
With games usually localised - where possible, Cherries travel to Spurs on the day after Christmas, and then go to Crystal Palace thereafter. However, 2027 will be welcomed in with some home comforts with Boscombe hosting Aston Villa for the first fixture of the next calendar year.
Another notable date will be the first-time Cherries fans set their eyes on former manager Andoni Iraola. This home meeting with Liverpool will be on 19th September, however this will probably shift to the 20th (which will be clarified below).

In view of Cherries' Europa League campaign that will be taking place in the 2026/27 season, the Premier League games that will be shifted to either a Sunday afternoon or Monday night include:
- Liverpool (H) - Provisional new date: September 20th
- Sunderland (H) - Provisional new date: October 18th
- Man United (A) - Provisional new date: October 25th
- Ipswich (A) - Provisional new date: November 8th
- Fulham (A) - Provisional new date: November 29th
- Arsenal (A) - Provisional new date: December 13th
- Forest (A) - Provisional new date: January 24th
- Fulham (H) - Provisional new date: January 31st
Fans will need to wait until nearer the time for each of these games to know when the exact kick-off times and dates will be, due to a large proportion of these games likely being televised. However, fans can certainly be sure that they are not going to be on a Saturday due to Europa matches being staged on a Thursday.

- 26 September and 3 October 2026 — this is a two-weekend international break, something new from FIFA.
