AFC Bournemouth have confirmed their match ticket prices for the 2026/27 Premier League season, with supporters set to pay slightly more to watch the Cherries at the redeveloped Vitality Stadium.

But how exactly do they compare with the previous season?

Following a previously announced increase to season ticket prices, where supporters will see a 3% increase in all seating areas, the match-to-match pricing - announced on Tuesday on afcb.co.uk, has seen a similar rise.

For season ticket tickets, prices were increased by "an average of £1.10 per game". For a North Stander - representing the cheapest single adult ticket, they will be £697 for the 2026/27 season, compared to £677 the previous season (both prices include the one-off £3 booking fee) - an increase of £20 (or 2.95%).

One of the issues that non-season ticket holders have had regarding the delayed development of Vitality Stadium is that this season, they are unable to trade in their loyalty points for a season ticket.

Originally, it was suggested that fans on maximum points might be able to do this, however, due to the capacity increase of Vitality Stadium being more limited than expected, this would have resulted in very few general admission tickets being available.

When there is significant expansion however, this is expected to be offered.

It still cuts deep for these supporters however, not least because they pay 23.1% more than season ticket holders, plus they have to go through the ever-competitive fortnightly rigamarole on a Tuesday at 10am - queuing for tickets in an online dog-eat-dog slog-fest - where being on the ball is crucial in order to 1) get a ticket and, 2) stay on top of their loyalty points tally.

In a Fan Advisory Board meeting earlier this year, there were some pointed exchanges when it came to ticket pricing. With the club suggesting that a price freeze is unlikely, FAB members pushed back firmly, suggesting that after three consecutive years of increases between 6.5% and 9.7%, anything above inflation (currently around 3%) would be difficult to justify.

As such, the increases have been well the FAB's worst case scenario.

In terms of loyalty points, any earned during the 2026/27 season will be added to supporters' existing total from last season, while fans will also be able to collect home points by attending selected non-league fixtures held at Vitality Stadium.

Ticket sales will once again follow a familiar release pattern, with on-sales beginning on Tuesdays before continuing on Thursdays and Sundays. Supporters holding at least one home point will retain access to seats through Cherry Tuesdays, the Ticket Exchange and any tickets returned ahead of matchday.

Final pricing, sales dates and points requirements for individual fixtures will continue to be announced on a match-by-match basis, while ticket details for AFC Bournemouth's UEFA Europa League campaign are expected to be released later this summer.

One of the biggest changes for supporters this season is the introduction of mandatory digital ticketing, in line with new Premier League requirements. All home match tickets will now be issued digitally and accessed via the AFC Bournemouth app.

Plus, with the announcement came a reminder to supporters that, due to the ongoing redevelopment of Vitality Stadium, the ticket office is currently operating from a temporary off-site location and is unavailable for in-person visits. Staff are expected to return to the stadium before Bournemouth's opening home fixture of the new season.
