Fresh from strategic rotation against Aston Villa, Marco Rose’s rested squad will be primed and ready for a tough test against Leeds United's. Discover how Tyler Adams’ reunion and a revitalised frontline could dismantle Daniel Farke's dynamic setup.
After Wednesday's excellent squad rotation from Marco Rose, AFC Bournemouth will have a fresh, well recovered team to face Leeds United tomorrow. Only 1 player in this team played the full 90 minutes in the 3-0 win, and there will be a plethora of players that will be ready to impact the game off the bench too.
GK: Djordje Petrovic. The Serbian will be full of confidence due to his turnaround of form after the 5-1 defeat to Chelsea, and got a well deserved rest on Wednesday as well.
LB: Adrien Truffert. Similar to Petrovic, Truffert didn't play a single minute on Wednesday, and will now be ready to add energy and solidity to Cherries defence. He will likely be up against former Bournemouth loanee Harry Wilson as well as Jayden Bogle at wing back too.
CB: Antonio Silva. The 23 year old played the full 90 minutes on Wednesday, but the regularity of games seems to only be benefitting Silva. He is looking more composed at the back, and will need to carry on this form to keep Calvert-Lewin quiet.
Pro Sports ImagesCB: James Hill. One of the most underrated central defenders in the Premier League. His physicality and quick turn of pace will be essential to keeping a lively Leeds attack at bay.
RB: Adam Smith. Similar to most players in this predicted XI, Smith was completely rested on Wednesday. Minutes need to be managed for the 35 year old, and with Juanlu impressing against Villa, an hour may be all that is needed so Smith is fresh for Thursday.
6: Tyler Adams. Playing against his former team where he isn't best liked will be something that Tyler Adams relishes with his playstyle, and should be the anchor in Marco Rose's midfield.
Pro Sports Images8: Ryan Christie. Christie only played 63 minutes on Wednesday, and before that came on late in the game against Manchester United. Leeds have a strong and dynamic midfield, which matches Christie's strengths to a T.
10: Justin Kluivert. Only played 45 minutes on Wednesday, and has a real spring in his step when playing. Rose has said Kroupi isn't ready to start yet, so Kluivert should play an hour in the 10.
LW: Marcus Tavernier. The man in form alongside Evanilson, and should start every game where needed.
Focus ImagesRW: Rayan. With Doak impressing again on Wednesday, Rayan will want to show Rose that hge has another level to reach. The 20 year old will look to exploit Leeds' attack minded wingbacks and cause chaos.
ST: Evanilson. The most confient he has ever looked in red and black, and should obviously start tomorrow.
