Predicted XI for AC MilanMore Videos

GK: Djordje Petrovic

The Serbian should retain his place between the sticks after demonstrating his quality against Graz and Sunderland. His shot-stopping ability and composure will be vital against an AC Milan side possessing considerable attacking talent.

LB: Adrien Truffert

Truffert should start at left-back, offering defensive reliability alongside his impressive willingness to push forward. His overlapping runs could provide Bournemouth with an important attacking outlet, stretching Milan's defensive shape and creating opportunities for the forwards.

CB: Antonio Silva

Antonio Silva should continue in central defence, bringing composure, positional awareness and quality on the ball. Facing Milan's attacking threats will provide another opportunity for the Portuguese defender to demonstrate why he can become such an important figure in Marco Rose's defensive setup.

CB: James Hill

James Hill gets the nod alongside Silva, offering versatility and familiarity with Bournemouth's system. His ability to defend aggressively and contribute during build-up could prove important against Milan, particularly if the visitors attempt to exploit spaces behind Bournemouth's defensive line.

RB: Adam Smith

The 35 year old should complete the back four at right-back, bringing experience and leadership to a fixture that will be a tough test all round for the full 90. Smith's minutes should be managed with Manchester United coming up swiftly on Sunday.

CM: Tyler Adams

The USMNT captain should start as the midfield's defensive anchor, providing the intensity and ball-winning ability needed to disrupt Milan's rhythm. His leadership and positional discipline will be crucial in protecting the back four against dangerous transitions.

CM: Lewis Cook

Lewis Cook partners Adams, offering composure, passing range and the ability to dictate Bournemouth's tempo. His experience could help the Cherries retain possession under pressure, while his distribution will be important in moving the ball quickly into advanced areas.

10: Justin Kluivert

Justin Kluivert should operate as the number ten, giving Bournemouth creativity, dribbling ability and a genuine goal threat between the lines. Again, minutes should be managed as this would be his first start since returning from injury.

Marcus Tavernier

Marcus Tavernier should start on the left wing, providing energy, direct running and a willingness to attack defenders. With 4 goals already this season following a lovely, composed finish to open the scoring against Sunderland, Tavernier should keep his spot off the left.

Rayan

Rayan deserves the starting role on the right, offering pace, unpredictability and the individual quality to trouble defenders. His confidence seems to be growing back, and should cause AC Milan's defence big issues tomorrow night.

Evanilson

Following his best performance in red and black on Sunday, Evanilson should lead the line, using his movement, pressing and penalty-box instincts to unsettle Milan's defence. With 7 goal involvements already this season and scoring in 3 games in a row, the Brazilian is a crucial player for Marco Rose at the moment.

Amine Adli, Ben Gannon-Doak, Bafo Diakite, Ryan Christie and Alex Toth will all be keen to get minutes, with the likes of Smith, Cook, Tavernier, Adams and Kluivert needing to manage their minutes carefully before Sundays trip to Old Trafford.
