Confirmed: Mikel Arteta Reveals Arsenal Line-Up vs Leeds United

Mikel Arteta restarts Arsenal’s Premier League campaign with a strong line-up at the Emirates as the Gunners welcome Leeds United in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Myles Lewis-Skelly comes in for summer signing Bruno Guimarães at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield. The youngster looked exceptional playing for England during the international break, and Arteta will hope the Hale End product can maintain his form for his country and his club.

Noni Madueke replaces Christos Tzolis in attack after suffering a hamstring injury while playing for Greece.

Kai Havertz starts despite sustaining a hamstring injury in the international break, with Viktor Gyökeres yet to start in the Premier League this campaign.

Arsenal’s Line-up v Leeds:

Arsenal: David Raya, Benjamin White, Ezri Konsa, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ricardo Calafiori, Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz

Substitutes: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Piero Hincapie, Eberechi Eze, Max Dowman, Mikel Merino, Jurrien Timber, Bruno Guimares, Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres

Arsenal came out on top with a massive 4-0 win at Elland Road last time the two teams played each other. However, Daniel Farke’s side remain undefeated so far this season and should pose a threat if Arsenal fail to stifle them early on.

The Premier League champions will want to bounce back after they were soundly beaten in their last Premier League encounter, suffering an emphatic 3-0 loss to high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX stadium before the latest international break.
