From David Raya’s penalty heroics to Martin Odegaard’s European winner, four stars stand out. Cast your vote to decide who dominated Arsenal's action-packed September.

Arsenal have announced their nominees for the club's Player Of The Month award for September. The club registered 4 wins and a defeat in all competitions across the month which saw a well fought 2-1 victory over London Rivals Chelsea, progression in the Carabao Cup with a 2-4 win over Ipswich Town, a winning start to our Champions League campaign after grinding out a 0-1 win in Naples on top of a victory on Wearside over Sunderland below falling to a heavy defeat on the South Coast against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The nominees for this month are:

David Raya

Raya has been in scintillating form yet again for Arsenal. He was at his best against Chelsea, making some crucial saves in the 2-1 victory, especially the late save to deny Estevao to ensure all 3 points. He contributed yet again in Arsenal’s win on wearside, saving Enzo Le Fee’s penalty. Both saves were subsequently nominated for ‘save of the month.’ He also kept a clean sheet in the game against Napoli despite being largely untroubled.

Martin Odegaard

Another player worthy of a nomination. Odegaard has continued his inspired form to start the 2026/27 campaign. The Norwegian rounded off a brilliant display with a goal against Chelsea which turned out to be the winner for Arteta’s men. He then put in a captain’s performance against Napoli, scoring the only goal of the game to give The Gunners a winning start in their quest for European glory.

Bruno Guimaraes

Bruno G could arguably have been nominated for this award for his goal against Sunderland alone, but his performances also warranted recognition. He was influential coming off the bench against his former rivals Sunderland and arguably turned the game in the Gunners’ favour. He also started the 2-4 win against Ipswich Town and had a tremendous game. He was withdrawn when Arsenal were 1-4 up.

Ezri Konsa

Another player that has been nominated that has made a seriously impressive start to life in N5. Following the injury to Mosquera and the long term absence of Saliba, he was thrown in at the deep end with a start against Chelsea, but put in a monumental display at the back in partnership with Gabriel. His slide tackle on Morgan Rogers was a particular highlight, that the Emirates faithful cheered like a goal had been scored at the other end. He was also part of the Arsenal backline that kept clean sheets in two tough away wins over Sunderland in the Premier League and Napoli in the Champions League.

Voting is now open on arsenal.com and fans have 100% of the say in who takes home the award. Voting closes on Friday 2nd October at 2:00pm UK time.
