Player ratings as Arsenal secured a historic three points away to Liverpool to catapult them back to the top of the Premier League.
Kai Havertz' first half strike was all Arsenal needed to secure their first Premier League win at Anfield since 2012.
Starting XI:
David Raya - 7
Had little to do. Liverpool failed to record a shot on target for the first time during a match at Anfield in Premier League history. Distribution was strong for the majority of the time and overall he did his job.
Jurriën Timber - 7
Liked having Timber back in the side and certainly for a game like today where Arsenal need defenders to bully the Liverpool attackers. Defensively really strong as usual but going forward it was impressive to see some great runs in behind. Shame he wasn't picked out for them.
Gabriel Magalhães - 8
For me, he is the best centre-back in the world. Dominates his areas, wins his headers powerfully and was relentless throughout. He limited Alexander Isak to very little and he just never fails to impress me.
Ezri Konsa - 8
What a warrior Konsa is turning out to be since joining the Arsenal. Wins all of his duels, bullied Liverpool's trio worth hundreds of millions up front and was in the way of so many shots and passes. William Saliba might not have his place back as easy as he first thought.
Riccardo Calafiori - 5
He was disappointing today and for me that has been a theme for a couple of weeks now. He cheaply loses the ball in some very dangerous areas and he can be thankful for our resolute defence for bailing him out. Looks good offensively but certainly needs to improve at the back.
Declan Rice - 8
What a player. He was everywhere. Wonderful cross for the Havertz goal and his contributions at the back were just sensational. Deservedly won the Player of the Match award and showed why he is one of the best players in the world.
Bruno Guimarães - 7
Did a solid enough job in a tough midfield role. Passing was accurate and smooth and he showed good strength when dealing with some of the physical duels.
Martin Ødegaard - 7
His press is relentless. He commanded the team well and like a true captain. It wasn't the sort of game that he could control to his best abilities but was still an adequate performance nonetheless.
Noni Madueke - 6
Did his defence duties well. Struggled to do his own thing and failed to make much impact going forward but was impressed with his tracking back. Overall a solid display from the Englishman.
Christos Tzolis - 6
Happy to see him back in the side after some time away with injury. He looked sharp and saw a decent effort saved by Alisson. Frustrated with his decision making at times but positive to see his return.
Kai Havertz - 7
Scored the important goal. Really fought during a game he was under a lot of pressure after his display against Fleetwood. His hold up play was superb and he tried his best to create as much as he could and bring other players into attacks.
Substitutes:
Myles Lewis-Skelly - 7
I still cannot believe how relaxed and strong he is for his age. The composure and maturity he shows is unbelievable. Helped close the game out well despite being booked.
Piero Hincapié - N/A
Viktor Gyökeres - N/A
Mikel Merino - N/A
The three later substitutes came on too late to give a rating but they all contributed to helping Arsenal see out a huge win away from home.
Its Slavia Prague next up for Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
