Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all reportedly monitoring Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl, with the 18-year-old’s lack of regular playing time and concerns over how he is conducting himself potentially opens the door to an exit in January.

Arsenal are currently monitoring Lennart Karl's situation at Bayern Munich as there is a growing uncertainty over the teenager's future with the German champions.

The highly rated youngster enjoyed a successful breakout campaign with Bayern last season scoring nine goals and assisting seven in all competitions. Karl has certainly established himself as one of the most promising talents in Europe which has led to a handful of Premier League clubs showing an interest in securing his services.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keen on signing Karl and have been assessing if a deal could be possible to complete as early as January next year. The report suggests that Karl's future could become a huge talking point if his situation at Bayern fails to improve in the closing months of 2026.

Karl has only played 280 minutes this season so far which is equivalent to playing three full nineties. The teenager is reportedly frustrated with his lack of game time despite his age, he clearly believes he should be playing more frequently for the German giants. TransferMarkt value Karl at £50 million which a lot of top European clubs would be more than happy to pay to ensure such a talent would sign for their team.

The teenager is struggling to compete in a side that is littered with so much attacking talent. When players like Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz all continue to perform at such a high level week in week out, it makes it extremely difficult for a young player like Karl to consistently receive the game time which he needs to help develop him at the most effective rate.

Bayern are not itching for Karl to depart the club. They rate him heavily and view him as one of their most exciting upcoming stars. Unfortunately, gametime has not been the only reason that has sparked talk over a potential exit for Karl. The teenager has had some troubles regarding his off-field behaviour. This resulted in the Bayern president Uli Hoeness having a stern word with the German about how to deal with the attention he recieves properly so he can focus on his football.

Much will depend on if Karl can play regularly with Bayern. For now, the interest from Arsenal it only early but if things do not change, there is a strong possibility the Gunners push hard in 2027.
