Arsenal are reportedly leading Tottenham Hotspur in the pursuit of Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, with the Belgian side valuing the 22-year-old at approximately £52 million following his impressive performances this season.

Arsenal are reportedly leading Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, with multiple other European clubs also monitoring the German youngster. According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, as reported by SoccerNews, the Gunners have been tracking the 22-year-old for around six months as they look at potential options to reinforce their attack.

Bitter rivals Tottenham are also interested in the forward, although Arsenal are understood to be better positioned to secure his signature if they pursue their interest. Club Brugge reportedly value Tresoldi at around £52 million.

The striker has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2026/27 campaign, particularly in the Champions League, where he produced a standout performance against Inter Milan. Tresoldi scored a stunning hat trick to inspire Club Brugge to a dramatic 4-3 victory at the San Siro. He opened the scoring from the penalty spot before finding the net twice in the second half. A performance that indicates that he can perform on the biggest stage.

Alongside Arsenal and Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly sent scouts to watch the striker. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with a potential move. With so many top clubs interested, it indicates how highly Tresoldi is regarded as one of the best upcoming talents in Europe.

For Arsenal, their reported interest suggests Mikel Arteta and the club's recruitment team are keen on improving their attacking options and it could be as early as January. A new striker signing might mean an exit for Viktor Gyokeres but that is all speculation at the moment. Although the Gunners already have a handful of quality  strikers in their squad, Tresoldi's age, potential and recent European performances could make him an attractive long term investment as Arsenal look to go that extra step in the Champions League.

The Gunners have had some good luck signing from Club Brugge recently. The brought in Christos Tzolis in the summer for £34 million. He was initially signed as a back up left winger but has since stepped up and filled the starting position really well after Arsenal failed to bring in a marquee attacking player before the deadline.

For now, the Gunners appear to be well positioned in the race, but much will depend on whether they turn their reported interest into a formal approach in the coming transfer windows. They would be keen to pay less than the £52 million valuation.
