Brentford player ratings after Keith Andrews side picked up three points and a clean sheet in a hard fought 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Brentford got themselves back on track in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Bees took the lead on the half hour mark after Dango Ouattara's low cross was diverted into his own net by Forest centre back Nikola Milenkovic.
After going ahead Keith Andrews' side stayed solid at the back to protect their lead before an excellent counter attack saw Jaidon Anthony set up Igor Thiago to extend the advantage to two.
Three points in TW8 sees Brentford maintain their position of sixth place in the Premier League, whilst Nottingham Forest drop to 19th...
Brentford Player Ratings
Starting XI
Caoimhin Kelleher - 7
Had a relatively quiet afternoon thanks to an excellent display from the Bees' defence, forced into only one save across 90 minutes - a tame effort from the edge of the box from James McAtee.
Will be pleased to have picked up his third clean sheet of the season, bouncing back after a difficult afternoon away to Hull City last weekend.
Michael Kayode - 7
Not his most eventful game but looked solid defensively and never faced any real trouble down his side, even after picking up a yellow card.
Sepp Van Den Berg - 8 (Man of the Match)

Gave up possession cheaply with one loose pass early on but after that was flawless on the ball and superb in defence, winning five out of six ground duels along with blocking two shots and making six clearances as Brentford kept a well deserved clean sheet.
Kristoffer Ajer - 8
Was involved less on the ball than his centre back partner but equally as impressive in defence.
Won 100% of his duels whilst making eight clearances and three interceptions.
Keane Lewis-Potter - 7
Was less involved going forward than usual, maintaining defensive discipline and managing the threat posed by Forest's wing backs.
Mamadou Sangare - 7
Battled hard in the midfield and broke up possession very well for the Bees in the first hour, winning 100% of his duels, blocking two shots and making two interceptions in the middle of the park
Vitaly Janelt - 8

Made six interceptions and won two out of three tackles in a solid midfield performance from Keith Andrews' side.
Dango Ouattara - 7
Showed great energy down the right wing, causing lots of problems for Forest's backline.
Completed three out of four dribbles and did excellently to beat his man and deliver the low ball from the byline which led to Milenkovic's own goal.
Mathias Jensen - 6
Struggled to provide too much of a creative spark in what was a relatively cagey game but worked hard to help out Sangare and Janelt defensively.
Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, striking the bar with an excellent free kick just before half time.
Kevin Schade - 7
Caused Forest numerous problems with his pace, with all three of the visitors' bookings coming from tactical fouls to stop the German breaking away on the counter attack.
Igor Thiago - 7

His finish was helped in via a deflection, but he will not care one bit!
Substitutes
Aaron Hickey - 7
Played a magnificent pass to set Anthony away in the build up to Brentford's second goal.
Looked far more at home in the midfield than last weekend.
Mikkel Damsgaard - 6
Showed some nice touches when he did get on the ball along with a few teasing crosses.
Jaidon Anthony - 7
Delivered an excellent assist to set up Igor Thiago for Brentford's second goal, putting the game to bed for the hosts off the bench.
Now has a goal and an impressive five assists in all competitions for the Bees this season after his summer move from Burnley.
Callum Wilson - N/A
