Brentford will discover their Carabao Cup fourth-round opponents on Wednesday night after Keith Andrews’ side booked their place with a 2-1 win over Reading.
The fourth-round draw for the Carabao Cup will take place following the conclusion of Manchester United’s tie against Brighton tonight on Sky Sports. Likely to begin at around 22:15; however, the exact start time will depend on when the game at Old Trafford finishes.
Jamie Redknapp and Ashley Young will handle the draw, which includes Brentford following their win against Reading last night.

Brentford, once again, find themselves advancing in a competition that Keith Andrews deems a ‘priority’ this season.
A strong starting lineup saw the Bees put 6 past Birmingham City in a comprehensive victory in the second round. Igor Thiago and Mikkel Damsgaard both found themselves on the scoresheet in an impressive performance.
Another formidable starting eleven was put out by Keith Andrews last night against Reading.
Callum Wilson found the net just three minutes into the tie to set the tone. Despite impressive play and a controversially disallowed overhead kick from Reading, the Bees doubled their lead seconds before half-time through the returning Fabio Carvalho.
The second half delivered a deserved goal for Reading, but the fightback wasn’t enough. Brentford saw the game out well and should have put the tie to bed late on through Igor Thiago, but the Brazilian couldn’t create the angle to score his second goal of the season.
Brentford are now just 4 wins from Wembley in a competition the club have a strong recent record in.
The Bees' best performance in the competition came in 2021, when Thomas Frank’s promotion-winning side faced Tottenham in the semi-final. Despite an impressive fight against a side then managed by Jose Mourinho, defeat put an end to Brentford’s best cup run in their history.
