As Brentford faced Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in their final game of pre-season, here are how things went down on a sunny day in West London.
On Saturday afternoon, Brentford hosted German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt to finish off their pre-season preparation, in the Indeed Invitational game, with just one week to go until the opening game against Spurs.
For the task at hand, Keith Andrews opted for an XI of; Kelleher; Kayode, Ajer, Collins, Lewis-Potter; Janelt, Sangare, Jensen; Ouattara, Thiago, Schade.
Meanwhile, the bench consisted of; Valdimarsson, Balcombe, Hickey, Henry, Pinnock, Yarmoliuk, Wilson, Anthony, Damsgaard, Nunes, Schuster.
Considering this is the final pre-season game, and that, as touched on above, we are just one week removed from the clash with Spurs, we can probably assume this will be the XI - or at least very close - that will be used next week.
It would be the perfect start for the Bees. Within the opening two minutes, Collins flicked the ball on from the second phase of a set piece and there was Kevin Schade to convert from close range. He knows he has a point to prove with the arrival of Jaidon Anthony, and this is exactly how you want to react. Great instinctive movement.
Then, ten minutes later, it was 2-0. The ball was cleared to the edge of the box, only as far as Sangare, whose left footed effort found its way into the back of the net. Probably not one the keeper will want to see back, but a nice hit all the same.
Just after the half hour mark, Brentford were close to making it 3-0, but Kayode's header following a corner was well blocked by a Frankfurt player. Yet another good opportunity from a set piece situation.
However, five minutes before the break, it was 3-0. Good work once again from Schade saw him win the ball back in the Frankfurt area, before rounding the keeper and very unselfishly squaring the ball for Thiago to score. What a performance from the German winger. That would be enough for a three goal lead at the break.
Seven minutes after the interval, it was 4-0. After nice build up play, Kayode's reverse pass found Ouattara, who went on a lovely driving run before firing in at the near post. Another great goal.
Five minutes after that, it was 5-0. After a very quick counter, Schade found Lewis-Potter who fired a lovely curling effort into the corner with his weaker left foot. A goal and two assists for Schade. Not long after, Hickey replaced Kayode. L

Two minutes, he turned provider with a low cross for Schade to make it 7-0, making it two goals and two assists for him on the day. Bare in mind that Frankfurt had only conceded two goals in their four pre-season friendlies before this game.
In the aftermath of that goal, Andrews made a number of changes; Wilson, Damsgaard, Pinnock, Anthony and Yarmoliuk replaced Thiago, Schade, Ajer, Sangare and Jensen. Eight mintes later, Henry replaced Lewis-Potter.
